Cultural Heritage Community Day – 17 & Central

Join us for Cultural Heritage Community Day at 17 & Central, a vibrant family-friendly celebration taking place as part of Cultural Heritage Month 2026.

Visitors are invited to explore culture, creativity and community throughout the day with activities designed for all ages.

Across the day you can enjoy:

• A pop-up cultural market delivered by The Pop Up Project, featuring a range of community traders

• Interactive cultural workshops exploring creativity and heritage (some sessions may require advance booking or a small fee)

• Opportunities to discover and celebrate different cultures

Party time!

From 2pm–6pm, the celebration continues with a Community National Dress Party, a joyful gathering where everyone is invited to celebrate culture and identity featuring: 

• Face painting and children's entertainment

• Cultural performances 

• Mini fashion runway - by the community, for the community! 

• Entertainment hosted by the dynamic duo Ace of Jacks

• Fun, games and music

• A lively and welcoming atmosphere suitable for all ages!
