A Celebration of Culture, Heritage and Community
11 May - 10 June 2026

What is it about?
Cultural Heritage Month is a vibrant, cross-cultural celebration of heritage, identity, and community through fashion, food, art, music, and storytelling.
Launching across the UK on 11 May 2026, it offers an opportunity for diverse communities to come together, share the beauty of their heritage, and create space for people to feel seen, valued, and celebrated. It also invites the wider public to learn, engage, and connect through joyful, meaningful experiences that honour cultural expression in all its forms.
From fashion shows and cultural talks to food pop-ups, exhibitions, and live performances, activities can take many shapes all designed to reflect and celebrate the communities they serve.

Why is it needed?
There’s never been a more important time to bring diverse communities together, not just during separate cultural observances, but through a shared and unified celebration where everyone feels included.
While existing cultural months are vital, many groups remain underrepresented. Opportunities for cross-cultural exchange also tend to be limited or siloed.
Cultural Heritage Month fills that gap by offering a national platform for all to be seen, heard and valued at the same time.
It’s a direct response to what we’ve witnessed through our involvement in Cultural Style Week: a growing demand for more time, space and opportunities to connect through culture, not just within communities but across them.
We’re inviting organisations to help lead this change and be part of something truly unifying. Sign up here

About us
Cultural Fashion & Arts CIC is a community-focused organisation dedicated to celebrating and preserving cultural heritage through fashion, arts, and storytelling.
We are the award-nominated team behind Cultural Style Week — a global movement that encourages people to “wear their heritage” and proudly showcase their identity. Since launching, we’ve delivered impactful cultural experiences across the UK and internationally, including in London, Cape Town, Leeds, and The Hague.
From fashion shows and exhibitions to workshops, performances and community-led campaigns, we create inclusive, high-quality events that bring culture to life in everyday spaces. Our work has reached thousands through partnerships with shopping centres, Mayor of London's culture team, universities, local councils, and cultural venues.
In 2025, our collaboration with The Mall Wood Green was shortlisted for “Community Initiative of the Year” at the Sceptre Awards, recognising our commitment to inclusion and creative community engagement.
With every project, our goal is simple: to make culture more visible, valued, and celebrated in the spaces where people live, work and gather.
