Cultural Style Week is an exciting week-long event that promises to get everyone talking about culture. It’s that one week in the year when people from all backgrounds are encouraged to wear their heritage!
From 21-27 May, People from all over the world are encouraged to participate and take part wherever they are by proudly wearing their cultural styles across the week, and sharing their pictures online with the tag #culturalstyleweek to connect and share with others.
On Saturday 21 May 2022, the launch of this new global movement took place in London, one of the most diverse cities in the world, just a few steps away from London’s renowned Royal Exchange. The momentous day which also coincided with the United Nations World Day for Cultural Diversity, saw people from all cultural backgrounds come together to celebrate the London launch of this new global movement. Across the week, many people across the globe participated and took part by proudly wearing their cultural styles and sharing their pictures online with the tag #culturalstyleweek and Cultural Style Week 2023 is set to be even bigger and better.
The Cultural Style Week movement brings people together across cultures and from all walks of life. For all who take part, this is an affirming experience and opportunity to champion cultural tolerance and acceptance through harmonious dialogue and everyone is invited!
For 2023 in-person events will include national dress parties, fashion shows, pop-ups, special offers, community get-togethers and so much more.
